Bendigo Bank and Meander Valley Council Grant (production of promotional DVD to raise awareness of the needs of rural patients in city hospitals)
This project is being undertaken with the assistance of local media business, Studio Be. It involves the development of an educational / awareness-raising DVD aimed at medical and care professionals.
Its aim is to enable professionals to better understand the particular circumstances, backgrounds and needs of their rural patients so that they may be better able to support them.

This grant has enabled us to develop resources and training to volunteers and medical professionals in order to support those impacted by trauma in rural socially isolated areas.
